Before I get started on this rant, let me point out a few things I’ve learned over the past few days:

1. Always Back Up Your Data. You never know when your unfathomably-expensive laptop (you know the one you paid extra for so it would last longer… wait… I said I’d get to the rant later… sorry) might crap out on you like a bad light bulb.

2. Apple computers are stupid expensive. They don’t just cost more on the front end, each little piece of hardware costs roughly 4 million times more than a PC counterpart.

3. Never buy a Macbook Pro off Apple’s refurbished list. I’ve had more problems with this machine than BP has had in the Gulf Coast.
